Pennsylvania continued the trend breaking a record for any political party.
PA party registrations
Since last year’s election, which featured races for judicial and municipal offices, the number of Democrats increased by more than 161,000, or more than 4 percent, to at least 4,044,952. No political party in the state had previously reached the 4 million threshold.
Besides When Republicans are told to switch their party to gum up the works, it also gives them permission to leave the party of fear. Once gone they will not all return.
Registration in the GOP declined by about 1 percent, to 3,215,478 statewide.
They are not all not switching to gum up the works.

This is the kind of activity that will turn PA blue not keep it wavering between red and blue. No wonder republicans are deciding not to run this year.
