Obama’s case for the nomination.

Thu May 22, 2008 at 04:58:09 AM PDT

The Clinton campaign continues to make her case for the nomination. So I decided to layout the case for Obama.

He tied the "Popular vote" (zero to zero) as this is a made up statistic, it never existed prior to 2008.
He won the most states.
He won the majority of the "Pledged  Delegates". (More below)
He has the most Governors (super delegates).
He has the most Senators (Super delegates).
He has the most US Representatives (Super Delegates).
He has the most Democratic National Committee members (super Delegates).
He has the most Add on Delegates (more on this one below)

Since I’m posting on Daily Kos; Today’s delegate numbers for Obama are:
Pledged(1657.5)    Super(306.5)  Total (1964)  Needed(61).

The (61):
From Obama stolen spreadsheet:
PR(25)
MT(9)
SD (8)
Sub Total (42)
Leaving a mere 19 more delegates required for 2025.
The remaining  " add on" super delegates give (24) easily (see list below).

Alaska 1
Georgia 2
Wyoming 1
Hawaii 1
Maine 1
Minnesota(2) 1
Pa(3) 1
Texas(3) 2
Vermont 1
Mississippi 1
Wisconsin 2
Idaho 1
Iowa 1
Virginia 2
Washington 2
North Carolina 2
Oregon 1
SD 1

Total 24

So that’s a rap.
